: : I started my hunt for dishes and pretty soon stumbled over Clio . a wonderful place to be. and especially for ceramics it turns out.

: : these lovely white dishes, 'hungry dinnerware', look much like other white dishes, but when you look closer you realize that they are actually not symmetrical, the edge is a little crooked...which adds character. combined with some colorful bowls it could be beautiful.

today .tina. asked me if I could help her get some ideas for sets of dishes. she loves pottery and is looking for dishes with character, funky, strong and asymmetrical...something that she can fall in love with. her new everyday dishes. of course, I am more than happy to give her some ideas. so I thought I would make this weeks posts about dishes, pottery and other things that might fit into that category. if you know of anything that might fit .tina's. taste send it my way : :

: : my friend .ali. was surfing the packaging digest [ don't ask me why] and came across these cool winebottles by Seattle-based Click Wine Group. Several companies have become more creative with their wine lables in recent years, but this is by far the most interesting I have seen.
