Delectable Recipes: {Tomato Goat Cheese Tart}

**tomatogoatcheesetart**
2 x 200g sheets store-bought shortcrust pastry, thawed
150g goat's cheese, sliced
150g red and yellow cherry tomatoes, halved
olive oil, for sprinkling
sea salt and cracked black pepper
**rockettopping**
50g wild rocket (arugula) leaves
2 tablespoons shredded basil leaves
1 tablespoon store-bought balsamic glaze
shaved parmesan cheese, to serve


Preheat oven to 180∘C (350∘F). Cut the pastry into 2x18cm circles and place on a baking tray lined with non-stick baking paper. Top each pastry with the goat's cheese and tomato. Sprinkle with oil, salt and pepper and bake for 25 minutes or until pastry is golden. To make the topping, combine the rocket and basil. Pile on top of the tarts, drizzle with balsamic glaze and add parmesan to serve. Serves 2.

Runway Inspiration: {Nina Ricci Pre-Fall 2012}

* love the vintage vibe of this dress, with the exquisite detail of a flocked butterfly motif borrowed from a kimono the designer picked up in Japan and of course the unusual, yet adorable fishnet gloves

*  the little black dress updated with details of passementerie-trimmed velvet and the other in a stretch radzimi

* a trio of inspiration to turn everyday work outfits into something spectacular

* the leopard-print overcoat, albeit a bit longer, still a coveted staple in one's wardrobe

* the never-ending flattering neutral, the blush, paired with a bold red lip

* these are my favourites; love the pairing of a chunky knit striped sweater with a lace pencil or a always flattering a-line skirt

* lastly, a lovely fuchsia sweater with a draped and twisted pencil skirt in army green; love the color combination and juxtaposition of feminine with a hint of military influence

{... hello again, the weekend so far has been relaxing and I'm presently at home covered in a soft mohair throw before a crackling fire and watching movie after movie... as you may have noticed I haven't been as diligent in posting regularly as I would like... my idea of a home

: : love this post over at .oh joy. today. I would feel so at home in any of these homes, the light, the wood, the color pop, the simplicity, purposefulness, balance and of course the pop colors feels perfectly aligned with the things I try to create in my own home. turns out the homes are all Swedish, designed by Swedish interior firm Alvhem....no wonder I was drawn to the images.
